Sensing an enormous magic power radiating from the fist enclosing Natsu, the Fairy Tail Mages look on in awe as a red dragon emerges from Mercuphobia’s vortex. The newcomer questions the rogue Water God Dragon on his condition, but recieves no response due to Mercuphobia’s inability to reason. The red dragon suddenly releases his grip on Natsu, urging the dragon slayer not to lose while ignoring the question of his identity. He states that Mercuphobia had not yet exerted full strength, taunting Natsu’s weakness and his relation to Igneel. Revealing himself to be a fire dragon, Natsu’s rescuer sets flame to the buildings in the harbor, causing residents of Elmina to flee from the site. Mercuphobia instinctively attempts to douse the burning city with rainfall from the sea, although the red dragon boasts that his fire is capable of burning water. As Natsu angrily voices opposition to the fire dragon, the latter encourages him to extinguish the flames himself by consuming them. ...

Mercuphobia targets the harbor with a destructive water-based attack, to Fairy Tail Mages’ dismay and Natsu’s anger. Carried by Happy, the dragon slayer confronts the Water God Dragon with his dragon roar, but the attack is quickly extinguished by Mercuphobia, and the two are caught in the latter’s wave. The rest of Team Natsu make their own attempts to deal damage to the dragon, but to no avail. Natsu manages to jump onto Mercuphobia, expressing reluctance at having to battle the Water God Dragon while also vowing to slay him. However, Mercuphobia neutralizes his magic and creates a vortex, which then envelopes the dragon slayer as the other Mages look on in terror. At that moment, a dragon hand emerges from the vortex, enclosing Natsu, as a voice declares his refusal to hand the Fairy Tail Mage to Mercuphobia.

They can only recall that the thief has a large face, and Solitaire berates them for their incompetence, telling them to search every part of the tower. Raizo is currently bouncing down a hall too quickly for the guards to see, and he looks forward to freeing Luffy of his handcuffs and escaping from the Prisoner Mine. However, Luffy has just kicked the vice warden Daifugo, the punishment for which is execution. The guards chant for Luffy's execution, and the prisoners mourn the inevitable result of his heroic action. The warden Babanuki notes that Luffy has extremely high willpower to injure Daifugo despite being weakened by the Seastone, and Luffy states that he is training with this handicap to get stronger. On the sea bordering Wano Country, the Big Mom Pirates sail on the Queen Mama Chanter and discuss their course of action. Perospero notes that Big Mom's Vivre Card indicates that she is still alive, and the crew speculates that Kaido and his crew may have taken her captive. However, Smoothie interjects against her siblings' discussion of their mother's possible death, saying the logic of this situation would be unlikely to apply to her. In Amigasa Village, Hitetsu contacts Tama and finds out about her group taking Big Mom to Udon. He tells her to return immediately, panicking due to being responsible for Momonosuke and not trusting the young Tama to protect him. Kiku tells Hitetsu that she is accompanying Tama and Momonosuke, and this does not sway him, but Tama's group then cuts contact with him. The group rides on a crocodile-shark creature through Kuri's wastelands, and Kiku faintly recalls hearing Big Mom's name before, but Chopper immediatel...

At the training facility, Gang Orca and his sidekicks prepare to carry out the final lesson for those present, stating that if they succeed they will finally obtain their Provisional Hero Licenses. At the dorms, Denki remarks about how strange it is that he obtained his license before the top students of their class. Miyashita and his boss discuss the company's prospects in the hero support market, and the former notes that the company has a lot to overcome due to their newness in the market. His boss points out that D...

Around 7:00 PM at evening, Izuku and Katsuki engage in a sparring match at Gym Gamma. Katsuki questions Izuku on why he hasn't activated his Blackwhip ability, in which the latter reveals that it apparently can't be unlocked as of now. All Might immediately tells the two to halt the match for the sake of discussing more about Izuku's current development. As the brief brawl stops, Katsuki points out that Izuku's black tendrils only appear whenever he's put into mortal danger. All Might then expresses concern for his pupil, Izuku. A flashback reveals the three discussing Blackwhip and the One For All predecessor who possessed it. Katsuki asks All Might how he knew about the black tendrils, but All Might admits that he too was in the dark about it until Izuku filled him in. All Might wonders about the bald predecessor and the fact that One For All is capable of letting Izuku use previous wielders' Quirk, saying that his master, Nana Shimura, probably didn...
