As they run, Saitama notices how he is seeing the same monster corpse and section of the halls again and again. Saitama asks Flashy Flash if he is lost, only to be ignored by the annoyed ninja.  Outside, multiple A-Class and B-Class heroes are battling several monsters, to keep Waganma safe from the Monster Association. As the battle dies down and the monsters are eventually defeated, the heroes have sealed all possible entrances for monsters to emerge. As they voice that victory may be imminent, Poison notices a tall, cat-like creature in the distance. He orders One Shotter to fire at the monsters, only for the bullet to be intercepted by Nyan's claw and deflected back at the sniper, wounding his head. Nyan voices his joy at coming across a weak group of heroes, after meeting Saitama, and insists they "play" with him.

However, given their limited oxygen supply, they can't pull up Kaseki, who's buried in the sand.  Ryusui sends a Morse code message to up Senku and Gen, who correctly interpret it: Ryusui needs the revival fluid! Using his oxygen tank to create an air pocket, Ryusui applies the fluid to Taiju. With Taiju's help, the group is able to pull out Kaseki. The diving team surfaces, their master artisan in hand!

News reports about the battle at Deika City describe it as a terrorist attack involving twenty men and women with a "grudge against heroes". The reports detail that all of the terrorists and many civilians lost their lives including Shoowaysha executive, Chitose Kizuki, while Detnerat president and CEO, Rikiya Yotsubashi, lost both his legs. The public is divided over the actions of the civilians, some applauding them for taking action while others insisting that their actions led to more deaths.  An investigation continues regarding the incident and the probable connection between Detnerat and Shoowaysha.
