As Natsu declares this event a fighting festival, Team Natsu and Juvia split up to head for four other cities of Draseel. Natsu manages to take down the manipulated Wakaba, Macao, and Romeo without a scratch before encountering the manipulated Gajeel.

After Team Natsu escape from the White Wizard, Juvia informs them about the White Wizard's motives and the reason why their friends are under her control. Not only that, they find out that the White Wizard is using them to find four remaining orbs of Draseel on Aldoron's parts of his body.

Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and Erza gather information about the Wood God Dragon Aldoron while Gray, Wendy, and Carla watch over the unconscious Juvia. However, Natsu and his friends encounter the White Wizard along with the manipulated Fairy Tail Mages and Jellal.

Team Natsu along with the manipulated Juvia arrive in Draseel wanting to find out the whereabouts of the Wood God Dragon Aldoron; the largest of the God Dragons whose true size is unrivaled to the city and the inhabitants.

As Team Natsu arrives at Rain Hill, Gray encounters Juvina, a celebrity member of Fairy Nail. During the time Gray spends his time with Juvina he becomes concerned about his relationship with Juvia, only at departure he finds the latter on board the same train they're on.

After arriving in Tekka, Team Natsu meet Erkis, who is the spitting image of Erza and a member of a celebrity guild called Fairy Nail.

Convening with Mercuphobia and Caramille the group learns of the other Five God Dragons, tasking themselves to head to Draseel in order to investigate the Wood God Dragon, Aldoron.

Boruto's body freezes up while going through the trees, causing him to fall, to his and Mitsuki's confusion. Mitsuki notices the Kāma activating in Boruto's hand. As it has only activated while in battle or around Kawaki, they surmise something's happened to him. At Naruto's home, Kawaki continues searching for the missing vase fragment. Naruto points out it's probably useless, since Hinata cleans everyday, and considers the vase pretty much fixed. Kawaki points out the vase still leaks, and that comments like that is why Boruto yells at him.  Inojin and Shikadai discuss Kawaki's trustworthiness while playing cards, noting how their parents feel about him. Kawaki is startled by Kurama's appearance. Kurama introduces itself, and explains it's the one responsible for watching over Kawaki while Naruto sleeps, something the other Kage have requested as well, commenting on the how times have changed to the point such a thing is possible. Kawaki is vaguely familiar with the concept of Tailed Beasts from Kara's documents, but mistakenly believes that Kurama is affiliated to Naruto because of his strength, and allowing him to lead Konohagakure. Kurama corrects Kawaki, explaining Naruto is like Kawaki himself.  It explains it used to be feared and took many lives, including Naruto's parents', and that Naruto was made into a vessel to seal it, causing him to be shunned by others. Kawaki thinks back to Naruto's words about using shadow clones. Kurama continues, adding that Naruto was very bad at jutsu, but that wasn't what filled his heart. Boruto wonders if they should try getting her off-guard, but Kawaki points out that Naruto can't go all out if there's a chance they'll get caught in it.  Boruto tries to argue, but Kawaki stresses that while in the defensive, Naruto is leading Delta's attacks away from them while trying to get an opening himself. Through his toad, Koji watches Kawaki, and determines that while Kawaki is under the Hokage's watch, he can't interfere carelessly, but he doesn't really want to, preferring to see how things unfold between Kawaki and Boruto.  Losing her patience, Delta deploys a drone from her back to look for Kawaki, something that doesn't have chakra, so the Yamanaka clan can't sense it. Declaring that he has broken through despair over and over in order to reach this point, Ichigo activates his Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, in a burst of energy. However, Yhwach immediately breaks off part of the blade with his bare hand, leading a shocked Ichigo to wonder how he did this without moving.  Yhwach notes that Tensa Zangetsu is indeed a fearsome Bankai and reveals that he used the future to break it before breaking off Ichigo's horn as well while reminding him to not drop his guard. Noting that a combined attack like this is fitting for a racial hybrid like Ichigo, Yhwach grabs and repels the augmented Getsuga Tenshō before proclaiming that Ichigo is out of his league. He then goes on to state that through this method, he would unify the villages, and eradicate the darkness in the world.
