Having broken open the concrete slab, Kohaku discovers the jar left by Byakuya. However, she accidentally breaks it, alerting the guards to her presence. Taking its contents, she flees the scene, and using the Motor-powered Car, she transports them to Senku and the Science Team. Kohaku deftly makes her way to the center of the Treasure Island village in search of the platinum left behind by Byakuya. However, she's unable to retrieve it as it's encased in concrete.  Senku devises a plan to break through the concrete silently. As Amaryllis and Ginro distract Oarashi, Kohaku bores holes into the concrete, filling them with the chemicals used to make plaster. Once combined and sealed, the plaster expands, breaking open the concrete.

It's a decisive moment for Karasuno as the second set nears its end. Hirugami aims his serve at Asahi, but Daichi intercepts it. Hinata, despite knowing a minus-tempo quick would be viable, chooses to slow down to first tempo and joins the rest in an all-out synchronized attack. He soars into the air with his "bam" jump while Kageyama sends the toss his way. Gao manages to land a touch on Hinata's spike but isn't able to prevent Karasuno from reaching set point. Gao declares that he will stop Hinata the next time and is confounded when he receives a delighted smile from Hinata in response.  As Tsukishima enters the game, he recalls the moment when he found out about Akiteru's lies and the existence of the "Small Giant." Kageyama successfully delivers the ball to Hinata's exact spike point, allowing the latter to overwhelm Kamomedai's blockers with both speed and height. Asahi's brillant spike brings back the momentum for Karasuno while Kamomedai calls for a time-out. Inspired by the ace's performance, Hinata is determined to fulfill his role as the decoy and distract the blockers. Bokuto and Akaashi, who have come to observe the match, note that Karasuno is not out of the danger zone yet after depleting a great deal of energy in a drawn-out match against Nekoma. Once the match resumes, Sugawara targets Hoshiumi with a serve for the third time only to find Kanbayashi taking the receive instead. Hoshiumi, now unrestrained, scores effortlessly to end Sugawara's brief turn on the court.  On the spectators stand, Saeko wonders why Karasuno isn't utilizing their tallest blockers against Hoshiumi. She is soon dismayed after Udai and Akiteru explain that such tactics will only make it easier for Hoshiumi to perform his blockouts. They want to have him watch the movie again, but Boruto leaves. He tells Konohamaru about it, who think he should train more if he has time to watch movies. Boruto asks him if he watches movies like that, but Konohamaru denies it, saying that he can't lose focus with romance when he wants to be Hokage. They notice a young woman being pursued.  Boruto and Konohamaru keep track of her as she loses her pursuers, and Konohamaru saves her from falling when she misses a step on stairs. The woman is astonished by the view while Konohamaru carries her jumping between buildings, and thanks him when they land. She introduces herself as Remon Yoimura.
