Roughly two months before the Heroes disappear from the streets and a week after the 'hospital tip', Twice meets up with Hawks asking for help with what to say about the 'idea of liberation'. Spinner and Mr. Compress are in meetings everyday, Giran and Dabi don't care, and Himiko Toga is cute, so he turned to him for advice. He also tells him that there are many in his unit that don't trust him since he considers him a puppet handed the position, he felt it would be better if he expressed his own views. It is then revealed that it took a month for Hawks to figure out the different units in the Paranormal Liberation Front and the members and lieutenants in each. First, there's "Black", the tactical force which provides support for the other three boss units led by Twice, "Violet", the raid regiment which supervises the positions of everyone around the country, with one exception, led by Dabi and Geten, "Carmine", the...

All Might shows Izuku the notebook containing the details of all the Quirks used by the previous One For All users, but reveals he couldn't find anything on the 2nd and 3rd users due to the era they existed in and the multifaceted nature of the Quirk. He wondered if they knew they harbored Quirks and could've left something behind but is interrupted by Katsuki, who tells him to get on with the meeting. Izuku tells All Might he can only manifest Blackwhip for a second, so he can't compete with Hanta Sero or Shota Aizawa, but considers it a powerful support-type Quirk. All Might asks him if he made contact with the other users, to which he says no. Katsuki identifies the 5th user as Daigoro Banjo a.k.a. Lariat, and that Blackwhip let him maneuver in the air. Based on that, Katsuki figures that all Quirks within One For All must be "lame", considering the past users 'nobodies'. Izuku tries defending Lariat's strength, but Katsuki points out...

Upon detecting that Kurogiri's brainwaves are being unusual, one of Tartarus's guards tells Naomasa and Gran Torino that Kurogiri is beginning to be agitated. Naomasa quickly asks where the Nomu are manufactured and Tomura Shigaraki's whereabouts. Seeing that Kurogiri is losing control and getting agitated, Shota continues to call him Oboro Shirakumo, trying by all means to make him remember who he was, without deactivating his Erasure, and soon Hizashi joins him. Kurogiri continues to insist that they are mistaken for someone else, that he is Kurogiri, the one who protects Tomura, but Shota and Hizashi continue calling him Oboro Shirakumo and their words finally manage to take effect, and the black fog that forms Kurogiri's head scatters enough to show the shadowed face of Oboro Shirakumo. In the secret laboratory of Daruma Ujiko, the doctor prepares to perform an operation on Tomura Shigaraki. Before starting, Daruma asks Tomura why he wants more power, considering that his Quirk Decay has become so powerful that he is literally the destruction incarnate. Tomura replies that he had promised him more power if he met his requirements, so now he is willing to claim his due. Responding then with more sincerity, Tomura tells Daruma that, although powerful, his Quirk is not infallible and there is always the risk that the enemy survives his attack, just as Re-Destro did during their fight. In addition, when he used his Quirk at full power, he himself was affected by the Decay, leaving his right arm full of scars, so it is not a power he can use as many times as he wants against the Heroes. Therefore, he wants to use everything he has at his disposal to obliterate the drags All Might left behind. Daruma likes Tomura's proclamations and explains the situation...

Endeavor notices that there is something unusual about Hawks's expression while he is offering him Destro's autobiography. Hawks gives him the book asking him to make sure he reads it well. Seeing how Japan's No. 2 hero recommends the book, Izuku expresses his desire to read it too, thinking he could discover the secret of his speed. Upon hearing him, Hawks gives him, Shoto and Katsuki extra copies that he carried with him. Izuku comments that it’s like he is spreading a gospel, to which Hawks replies that it is a fairly accurate comparison since he had already recommended the book to friends, colleagues and other Heroes. Before leaving, Hawks suggests to Endeavor that he should at least glance over the sections he marked, saying that's his second recommendation in so many words. Izuku and Shoto are impressed despite being only 22, Hawks has a very different perspective than them. To Katsuki, however, Hawks ticks him off. Once Izuku, Shoto, and Katsuk...

In the days prior to the Fire Festival, Orochi had ordered his men to destroy the bridges connecting the country's regions in order to prevent the Kozuki alliance members from convening on Port Tokage. He also had his men attack the Thousand Sunny after finding out where it was, and in Ebisu Town, the citizens drew Holdem's wrath after claiming to have eaten the food rations that the Nine Red Scabbards stole.  In the present day, the Scabbards decide that they must go forward with their plan no matter what, remembering that Oden told them the tides of the world would only change once Wano's borders are opened.
