Boruto Chapter 37

As Jigen and Naruto prepare to fight, Kawaki gives up and surrenders himself to Jigen in exchange for Jigen not harming Naruto, reasoning that Jigen is far stronger than Delta and could very well kill Naruto or at least nearly do so and showing he had came to care for the Seventh Hokage more than his freedom. Jigen agrees as long as Kawaki remains cooperative but Naruto refuses to, saying that as Hokage, his job is to protect all in the village including Kawaki. Jigen, seeing no compromise, teleports him to a dimension with the intention to leave him stranded. 

As he is about to leave, Sasuke appears and kicks Jigen. Jigen recognizes Sasuke from his Rinnegan and comments on how his timing is lousy and he could have left with Naruto unharmed had he appeared later on but Sasuke and Naruto see it as an opportunity to defeat Jigen there, as they can go all-out in the dimension, which Jigen laughs at. When Sarada Uchiha arrives at Naruto's house, all she finds is some rods with blood on it and Kawaki unharmed. Mitsuki and Boruto rushes to the scene with Mitsuki realizing Boruto's Kāma is receding and both wonder what has happened. Naruto attacks Jigen with a Rasengan but Jigen absorbs it with the Kama and kicks Naruto so strongly to push him back before suddenly conjuring black rods on his hand. Before Jigen could deal a lethal blow, Sasuke kicked Jigen away and attacked him with his sword only to be thwarted by a large Bo that appeared out of nowhere in Jigen's hands and once again suddenly stabbed by black rods with a simple flick of Jigen's finger. Naruto attacks Jigen again but Jigen suddenly vanishes. 

Naruto uses Shadow Clones to figure out Jigen's ability and they all suffer the same attack and are quickly vanquished. Sasuke successfully analyzes Jigen's ability, that to manipulate matter to shrink and return objects to normal, which, while simple, is still powerful as the rods can be small enough to be unnoticed and then deal mortal wounds once returned to normal size, and his vanishing is just Jigen shrinking himself very small. However, Sasuke starts to be worried as he tells Naruto it isn't his only secret ability. Jigen praises Sasuke for his coolness and intelligence, noting that it even exceeded his mastery of the Sharingan and coupled with his Rinnegan, he is the one Jigen must eliminate first, before attacking again. Naruto and Sasuke dodge by jumping and Naruto neutralizes Jigen's rods with his wide Big Ball Rasengan before dueling with Jigen in close combat. 

Jigen nearly defeats Naruto again but is forced to block Sasuke's sudden blow and vanishes again. Sasuke detects Jigen's location and Naruto attacks him with another Giant Rasengan but Jigen is still able to absorb it even in such a small state. However, Naruto reveals it was a trap as they can now tell where he is and Sasuke moved to stab Jigen but Jigen, despite being surprised, still successfully warps out safely as Naruto and Sasuke lament how close they were. Jigen then calmly says that he has learned the weakness of his ability and warns them it won't happen again before he finally reveals his another secret, activating the same state Sasuke saw him in the dimension of the Otsutsuki, his Kama extending to the point of protruding a horn from his temple, as even Naruto and Sasuke are concerned by the power of the form, especially Sasuke who saw it first-hand.
